Gravity Game
A browser-based flashcard game based on Quizlet Gravity for language acquisition. Built to combine two things I actually care about: coding and Japanese.
Polarization Research
Analyzed trends in ANES survey results over time to identify shifts in political polarization within the U.S. Utilized t-tests, rolling means, and chi-square tests to determine differences between response groups based on party affiliation and education level. Furthermore, identified underlying factors contributing to these shifts.
NBA Basketball Play Off Predictions
Web-scraped basketball data using BeautifulSoup and Selenium, and combined unstructured data with kaggle datasets to analyze NBA performance from 2013-2023. Tested multiple machine learning techniques to determine best predictive model for playoff prediction. Ridge Regression explained 92% of team playoff outcome's variability.
Translation Pipeline
Turn images of language text into english through a Gemini API. Output taken from model and transformed into words and translations table to upload to a larger data list in SQLite, Anki, CSV, and/or Sheets. Quizzes users daily and on demand. Models decay curve to recommend review words through machine learning.
CDC Carolina Data Challenge Hackathon
Examined data on the space economy gathered from the US Bureau of Economic Analysis. Utilized a linear regression to find that increasing worker salary would indeed increase real gross output. Developed a Tableau dashboard to visualize key insights and uncover general trends in the space economy.
